THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.37958 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to quash the proceedings in F.I.R.No.435 of 2016 on the file of Rajeev Gandhi International Air Port Police Station, Shamshabad, Cyberabad against the petitioner. 2.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

The offences alleged against the petitioner are punishable under Sections 342, 366, 376(D) read with 511, 323 and 506 I.P.C. 4.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner confined his arguments only to the extent of giving a direction to respondent No.2 to release the petitioner's vehicle i.e., Innova Car bearing No.AP-10-AK-9888.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to approach the Court where the vehicle was deposited and file an application seeking release of the said vehicle and on such application being filed, the Court concerned shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
