HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY ELECTION PETITION No.18 of 2014 ORDER:

When the matter was listed on 08-03-2016, learned counsel for the petitioner sought time for filing list of witnesses and when it was listed on 14-03-2016, there was no representation for the petitioner in the morning and after noon. As such, the matter was directed to be listed under the 'dismissal' caption. When the matter was listed on 15-03-2016, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he has no instructions in the matter and sought time for filing memo to that effect. When the matter is listed today, a memo is filed by the learned counsel for the petitioner stating that he has not received further instructions from the client. This goes to show that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case.

In view of the same, the Election Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Election Petition shall stand closed.
