THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.27151 OF 2017 O R D E R:
The writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in not paying the revised minimum wages rates to the petitioner as per the notification No.S.O.190(E) dated 19.01.2017 issued by the Central Government for execution of integrated cleaning contract of Hyderabad Railway Station for the period of three years.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri R.
Raghunandana Rao, senior counsel appearing for Sri A. Mogili, Advocate for the petitioner while placing reliance on the letter dated 16.08.2017, would submit that an exit option was given to the contractor in relation to the conservancy and house keeping in the Delhi High Court, the rates were enhanced. In those circumstances and in the light of the stand of the respondents themselves through their letter dated 11.07.2017 wherein they are willing to consider the request of the petitioner subject to petitioner placing supporting material, hiking in wages would be given.
Sri A. Ravinder Reddy, learned standing counsel for the respondents submits that in terms of the letter dated 11.07.2017 and subject to the contractual terms, the respondents would have no objection to receive the representation of the petitioner and consider the same.
Recording the respective submissions, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible. No order as to costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
