HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.31813 of 2017 ORDER:

Questioning the action of respondents in not registering the complaint dated 28.08.2017 made by the petitioner, the present Writ Petition is filed.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (AP) would place before this Court a copy of the First Information Report from which it is clear that FIR No.240 of 2017 was registered on 20.09.2017 on the file of Kurnool Taluk Police Station, Kurnool District for offences under Sections 109, 506 read with 34 IPC and Section 3(1)(s) of SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015.

Since the complaint has now been registered, respondent No.5 shall cause investigation forthwith, and file a report under Section 173(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code at the earliest.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed.
