Medari Tummala Ramana v. The District Collector, Kurnool District At Kurnool
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 29359 of 2011 ORDER:- Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.
The present writ petition came to be filed questioning the inaction of the respondents in disposing of the representation dated 22.03.2011 made by the petitioners, as illegal and arbitrary.
The grievance of the petitioners is that though they are in possession and enjoyment of the land, for which pattas were granted in their favour by the revenue authorities, and though they made a representation dated 22.03.2011 to the respondents seeking an enquiry, since one Abdul Majid and his family members claiming themselves to be the owners of the said land are interfering with their possession and enjoyment, till date no orders are passed.
Having regard to the circumstances of the case, the Tahsildar, Atmakur Mandal, Kurnool District (3rd respondent), is directed to dispose of the representation dated 22.03.2011, if it is made and still pending consideration, in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
