- 2 - HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION NO. 18087 OF 2019 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief : "..... directing the respondents in not giving effect to the Order passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.18255 of 2010 and batch dated 23.06.2014 where by the impugned Memo No.6882/U.EII/2010-01, dated 06.01.2010 issued by the Principal Secretary to Government, Higher Education (U.E.II) Department which was quashed illegal, bad arbitrary opposed to Principles of Natural Justice, violating Article 21 and Article 14 and consequently direct the Respondents to fix the petitioners pay in the pay band of Rs.37,400-69,000 with A.G.P of Rs.9000/- with effect from their appointment as Associate Professors by Director recruitment and set aside the proceedings issued by the University seeking to recover the arrears of pay from the petitioners or any other proceedings or to pass such other order ..."

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Standing counsel for the respondentUniversity submits that subject matter of the writ petition is covered by the decision of this Court in W.P.No.18255 of 2010 & batch dated 23.06.2014.

By the said judgment, this Court set aside the Memo dated 06.07.2010 and issued consequent declaration that the petitioners therein are entitled to pay band of Rs.37,400-67,000 with A.G.P. Rs.9000/-.

Following the said decision, this Writ Petition is also allowed and respondents are directed to fix the pay band of petitioners in pay band of Rs.37,400-67,000 with A.G.P. of Rs.9000/- with effect from their appointment as Associate Professors.
