HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.36751 of 2015 ORDER :

Petitioner was appointed as Master Book Keeper in the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty in the year 2004 and promoted as DMG in March, 2008. On the allegation of misappropriation, disciplinary action was initiated against the petitioner which resulted in passing order of removal by proceedings dt.18.12.2014 of the Project Director, District Rural Development Authority,

Velugu Project, Kurnool(3rd respondent). Aggrieved by the said order, petitioner preferred appeal before the appellate authority on 21.02.2015. Alleging that so far no orders are passed on the said appeal this Writ Petition is filed.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, both counsel for the petitioner and Standing Counsel for respondents 2 and 3 agreed for disposal of the writ petition with a direction to the appellate authority to pass orders on the appeal filed by the petitioner within a reasonable time.

3. Having regard to the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Chief Executive Officer2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the appeal preferred by the petitioner on 21.02.2015 against the order of 3rd respondent dt.18.12.2014 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

4. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
