THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO Dated:30.04.2018 Between:

B.Krishna Reddy, S/o. Late Chandra Reddy, Aged about 66 years, Occ: Agriculture, R/o. Nagavaram Village, Wanaparthy Mandal, Wanaparthy District.

... Petitioner And The State of Telangana, Represented by its Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, Secretariat, Hyderabad and others.

... Respondents The Court made the following:

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:

Petitioner claims to be the owner and in possession of land to an extent of Acres 0.12 guntas in Survey No.37 and Acres 0.15 guntas in Survey No.41, of Nagavaram Village, Wanaparthy District. Aggrieved by the entries made in the revenue records, against the petitioner and in favour of the 5th respondent, petitioner preferred appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer. Revenue Divisional Officer, by his order dated 07.07.2016, dismissed the appeal. Aggrieved thereby, petitioner preferred revision and it appears the said revision is pending.

2.

On 23.01.2018, a notice is issued to conduct enquiry on 17.02.2018. There is no whisper in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition as to what happened on 17.02.2018. Therefore, the question of holding inaction in granting interim order and that interim order should be granted at this stage does not arise, more so, when petitioner was unsuccessful before the Revenue Divisional Officer, vide his orders dated 07.07.2016. Thus, no relief as sought for can be granted.

3.

Accordingly and with the above observations, this writ petition is dismissed. However, it is needless to observe that

since the revision is pending for long time, Revisional Authority shall dispose of, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on due consideration of the respective contentions.

4.

Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
