Fazal Unnissa v. The State Of Telangana And 5 Other
HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.18135 OF 2019 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of respondent Nos.4 and 5 in calling the petitioner viz., Fazal Unnissa to the 4th respondent authority - Station House Officer, Langer House Police Station, Hyderabad in the name of counselling, threatening and forcing her to get her husband viz., Mohammed Tabrez to the police station as illegal and arbitrary.
2. Heard Sri K. Ravinder Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home and perused the material on record.
3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions dated 22.08.2019, would submit that the 4th respondent never visited the house of the petitioner or summoned her to the police station at any point of time and thus, abusing or threatening the petitioner with her life and liberty does not arise. It is also stated that there appears to be dispute between the petitioner and respondent No.6 viz., Smt. Shahana Begum, who is the first wife of the petitioner's husband viz., Mohammed Tabrez, and in order to settle the inter se dispute between them, the petitioner is unnecessarily involving the 4th respondent in the litigation. It is also submitted that as per the Station records, no complaint was received by the 4th
respondent against the petitioner, as such, calling the petitioner to the police station does not arise.
4. Recording the aforesaid submissions made, as per the written instructions dated 22.08.2019, on behalf of the 4th respondent, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition stand closed.
