Heard Sri M.P.Chandramouli, counsel for the petitioner and Smt J.Koteshwari Devi, Standing Counsel for respondents.

2. Petitioner is an industry located in YSR Kadapa District having a HT service connection provided by the respondents. The respondents have served a bill dt.26.10.2015 demanding a sum of Rs.30,42,091-47 paisa from the petitioner towards electricity consumption charges and other charges.

3. Petitioner contends that due to several reasons including the recent cyclonic rains, its factory had been closed from 09.11.2015, that in spite of the same, the petitioner had paid Rs.27,94,838/- on 30.10.2015, but the balance of Rs.30,689,777/- is still to be paid. He states that petitioner had given representation dt.23.11.2015 to the 1st respondent seeking installments and the same has not been considered by the respondents so far.

4. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents states that the respondents would consider the representation of the petitioner within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dt.23.11.2015 in accordance with law within a period of two

(02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and pending consideration of the same, the respondents shall not

disconnect the power supply to the petitioner-Industry. There shall be no order as to costs.

6. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
