THE HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE G. ANUPAMA CHAKRAVARTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.6085 of 2014 ORDER :
This criminal petition is filed to call for records in respect of petitioner/accused No.3 in Crime No.65 of 2014 registered on 15.04.2014 by the Sirpur(Town) Police Station on the file of learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Sirpur. 2.
Upon perusal of the record, it is evident that, on 11.10.2022, 18.10.2022, 26.10.2022, 02.11.2022, 09.11.2022, 14.11.2022, 28.11.2022, 12.12.2022, 04.01.2023, 11.01.2023, and 30.01.2023 and 03.02.2023, there was no representation for the petitioner.

Therefore, the Court has directed the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor to report about the stage of the case and listed the matter under the caption "for dismissal. 4.
Though the matter is coming up under the caption 'for dismissal', today also there is no representation for the petitioner either in the forenoon or in the afternoon. 5.
On perusal of the FIR it is evident that, the case was registered against the petitioner for the offence under section 7-A r/w 8(e) of AP Prohibition Act, 1995 and there is no stay in
this case and there is no information about the further proceedings since 2014.

Since, the petitioner is not evincing any interest in prosecuting the matter and as the offence is of the year, 2014 this Court is of the considered view that nothing survives for adjudication in this criminal petition.

Further, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that charge sheet is laid. Therefore, the Criminal Petition has become infructuous.

Therefore, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous.
Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
