HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.36933 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 5.10.2016.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

The main grievance is that the petitioner lodged a complaint against M/s. Ayaz Bashir Electronics Trading LLC, represented by Mr. Ayaz Bashir, for the offence of cheating and criminal breach of trust. But the said complaint was registered as FIR.

Considering the circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:

"Respondent No.2 is directed to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 5.10.2016, if it discloses any cognizable offence and proceed in accordance with law. If the above respondent fails to register the complaint, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the higher officials or to avail the remedies that are available under Cr.P.C."

There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
