THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.15922 of 2018 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Zakir Ali Danish, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner he is the father of one late Alishala Suresh and the said Suresh met with a fatal electrical accident on 05.10.2014 and died due to electric shock while he was trying to open jumper of 25 KVA DTR in the agricultural field at Kothachervu of Basheerabad village. It is stated that, on 14.07.2017, petitioner herein submitted a representation to the respondents requesting for sanction of exgratia relief in terms of the proceedings No.N.O.O.(CS)Rt.No.132, dated 11.89.2007, as modified vide N.O.O. (CS) Rt.390, dated 20.09.2013. In the said proceedings, the respondents herein fixed the exgratia amount payable in case of fatal accidents to non departmental persons due to electrocution as Rs.2,00,000/-.

The grievance of the petitioner, in the present Writ Petition, is that, despite submission of representation, as long back as on 14.07.2017, no action whatsoever has been taken by the respondents herein in the direction of redressal of his grievance.

On the hand it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel that if any such representation is pending consideration as on today before the respondents the same will be verified and appropriate action will be taken, strictly in accordance with law.

Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents herein to verify the representation, dated 14.07.2017, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
