Raja Kumari v. The State Of Telangana, Principal Secretary,
HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No:34325 OF 2016 ORDER:
1.
The present writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a direction to the 3rd respondentCommissioner of Police, Cyberabad to take appropriate action on her complaint dated 6.8.2016 and to protect her from the harassment of SubInspector of Police-Bharath Naidu. 2.
The main grievance of the petitioner is that a case was registered against her for the offence under Section 380 IPC and on registration of the said crime, the Sub-Inspector of Police-Bharath Naidu is calling her to the police station and detained her for four days and tortured her mentally and physically. Even though the petitioner lodged a complaint, no action was taken and hence, she made a representation to the Commissioner of Police, in this regard on 6.8.2016. But the Commissioner of Police has not disposed of the said representation.
3.
The learned Assistant Government Pleader submitted that there is no such harassment by the said Bharath Naidu, and in any event, a direction may be given to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner. 4.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, the 3rd respondent-Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad is directed to dispose of the representation dated 6.8.2016 given by the petitioner, in accordance with law.
5.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ____________________ JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Dated: 17th October, 2016 Nn.
