ORDER

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.281 of 2019 on the file of Manakondur Police Station, Karimnagar District, registered for the offence under Section 420 IPC and under Section 7 of Essential Commodities Act, against the petitioners/A1 to A3. 2.

Though the petitioners have raised several grounds to quash the aforesaid proceedings, learned counsel for the petitioners requested this Court to direct the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar and another1. 3.

Acceding to the request of the learned counsel for petitioners, without going into the merits of the matter, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar's case (supra).

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
