THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.2846 OF 2017 ORDER :

Petitioners claim to be working against aided post in the T.J.P.S College, Guntur. According to the petitioners in response to the orders issued by Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Andhra Pradesh on 16.09.2016 calling for particulars of unaided lecturers, the particulars were submitted on 17.11.2016. But there is no progress regarding appointment of petitioners against aided vacancies.

Ventilating their grievance all the petitioners have submitted representations on 12.01.2017 addressed to the Commissioner of Collegiate Education. The grievance of the petitioners is that even this representation is not acted upon so far. 3.

Having regard to the contentions of petitioners that proposals were already submitted and that the representations are made, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition and keep the writ petition pending.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Commissioner of Collegiate Education to consider the representations of petitioners dated 12.01.2017 and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
