HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.AMARNATH GOUD WRIT PETITION No. 15735 of 2018 ORDER : (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.Praveen Kumar) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuane of writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents-police to produce the wife of the petitioner namely, Kalluri Akshitha @ Aenugula Akshitha, who is in the illegal custody of the 4th respondent, before this Court and declare her detentnion as illegal and bad in law. 2.

Previously, on 30.04.2018 the learned Advocate General took time and accordingly, the matter is listed today. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, both the parties are present before this Court.

When examined the alleged detenue in the chamber, she stated that she completed her Bachelor of Engineering and she is a major. She denied the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the above writ petition and stated that she is staying with her parents on her free will and consent and that there is no pressure from her parents. We have also examined the husband, who stated that both of them fell in love and got married in the month of March 2016. According to him, the parents of the detenue have tutored her to speak like this.

Having regard to the scope of the writ petition and in view of the statement of the alleged detenue, we feel that the request of the petitioner, cannot be accepted.
