HIGH COURT FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA THE HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI RAGHVENDRA SINGH CHAUHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. ABHISHEK REDDY WRIT PETITION No.18205 OF 2019 14.11.2019 Between:

R. Bhoopal Reddy ... Petitioner and The State of Telangana and others

...Respondents

Counsel for the appellants : Mr. B. Siva Prasad Counsel for the respondents : Mr. P. Mohit Rao, Learned counsel attached to the office of the learned Advocate General The Court made the following:

HCJ&AAR,J W.P.No.18205 of 2019 ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Sri Raghvendra Singh Chauhan) By order dated 27.09.2019, this Court had directed the respondents to submit a report with regard to the manner in which the detenue, Sirisha, is being kept by her parents, as the marriage is an inter-religious one.

Consequently, a counter-affidavit has been filed by Mr. P. Srinivas, the Sub-Inspector of Police, Mirdoddi Police Station. According to the said counter-affidavit, the detenue is no longer living in the village. In fact, presently, she is residing with her uncle in Hyderabad. Moreover, the police informs this Court that there is no communal tension in the village, despite the fact that the detenue has married the respondent No.7, who belongs to a minority community. The said counter-affidavit shall be taken on record.

Since the detenue is living happily with her family, since there is no possibility of any communal disturbance in the village, this Habeas Corpus Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
