Counsel for the petitioner: Smt.S.A.V.Ratnam Counsel for respondent No.1: Sri M.Ravindra Counsel for respondent Nos.2 & 3: Sri R.Hanuma Kumar for Sri K.Sarva Bhouma Rao The Court made the following:
ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to direct respondent No.1 not to provide service connections to respondent Nos.2 and 3 in respect of the sheds constructed in premises bearing Nos.65-6-680 and 65-6-672, comprised in Survey No.55, of Himachala Nagar, Malgoda, Visakhapatnam.
At the hearing, Sri M.Ravindra, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.1, on instructions, submitted that on 12.06.2012 itself respondent No.1 has released the service connections to the above-mentioned premises in the names of respondent Nos.2 & 3.
As service connections have already been issued, the prayer as framed in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed, however, with liberty to the petitioners to avail appropriate remedy for redressal of their grievances.
As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.23429 of 2012 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
