HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.2541 OF 2017 JUDGMENT:

Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court on 07.11.2017 in Crl.R.C.M.P. No.4458 of 2017, having recorded the compromise between the parties for compounding the offence, learned counsel for both parties filed a memo annexing thereto a receipt issued by Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, evidencing the payment of 15% of the cheque amount i.e., Rs.12,000/-.

2. Perused the receipt issued by the Accounts Officer, Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Hyderabad.

3. Therefore, Criminal Revision Case is allowed in terms of compromise entered between the parties, setting aside the conviction recorded and sentence of simple imprisonment for a period of three months and to pay cheque amount as compensation ordered by the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class for Railways, Guntur, in Calendar Case No.203 of 2011 for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, as confirmed by the learned II Additional Sessions Judge, Guntur, in Criminal Appeal No.430 of 2015, by judgment, dated 10.07.2017 and acquitting the revision petitioner - accused for the aforesaid offence.

ASN,J Crl.R.C.No.2541 of 2017 As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in criminal revision case, stand closed.
