- 2 - THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WP.No.18273 of 2019 ORDER :

Petitioner claims to be the owner of a small fancy store in Mahabubabad town and eking out his livelihood by running the said shop. Petitioner now alleges that the District Collector and Municipal Commissioner have identified the petitioner's land coming in the way of widening of existing road and respondents are trying to demolish without following due process as required by law for acquiring the private land for public purpose. On instructions, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.3 submits that in anticipation of action to be taken, this writ petition is filed.

Municipal Corporation has identified large extent of land for widening of road and respondents are taking steps to follow due process. Petitioner will not be dispossessed without following due process.

In view of the same, apprehension expressed by the petitioner is no way subsists and writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.

No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
