Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

The petitioner is a Fair Price Shop Dealer of Shop No. 45 of Maddalapalli village, Narpala Mandal, Ananthapuram District. While so, a show cause notice was issued by the second respondent on 20.05.2015 based on the report of the fourth respondent. The petitioner submitted his explanation on 28.05.2015. This Writ Petition is filed on the ground that though the authorization of the petitioner is valid and in force, the essential commodities are not being supplied to the shop of the petitioner.

It is to be seen that merely because the proceedings initiated against the petitioner are pending, supply of essential commodities cannot be stopped so long as the authorization of the petitioner is valid and in force in order to see that the card holders cannot be put to any inconvenience from the supply of commodities. In these circumstances, the respondents are directed to supply the essential commodities to the Fair Price Shop of the petitioner so long as the authorization of the petitioner is valid and in force.. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
