None appears for the writ petitioner.

The Project Director, District Water Management Society, Kakinada, East Godavari, the 3rd respondent, passed orders placing the writ petitioner under suspension pending enquiry. There are two specific allegations that have been levelled, which disclose that the writ petitioner has not attended to her duties properly. These are all factual controversies and suspension pending enquiry cannot be construed as a punishment per se. Therefore, I do not find any justifiable reason to interfere with the order of suspension. However, the respondents cannot place an employee under suspension and forget about him / her existence. The enquiry must be completed in quick time. I hope and trust that the enquiry will be completed within the next three months provided the writ petitioner cooperates in completing the said enquiry.

With this, the writ petition stands disposed of at the admission stage, after hearing the learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj & Rural Development (Andhra Pradesh), but however, without costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, stand disposed of.
