HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.M.P.Nos.10231 & 10232 of 2015 IN/AND CRIMINAL PETITION No.10197 of 2015 COMMON ORDER :
This criminal petition is filed by the petitioners/A.1 to A.8 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.145 of 2014 on the file of the V Additional Junior Civil Judge, Guntur, for the offence punishable under Section 498-A IPC.
2. Pending the criminal petition, both parties filed Crl.M.P.Nos.10231 and 10232 of 2015 along with affidavit of the 2nd respondent-de facto complainant and a joint memo stating that they amicably settled the matter to purchase peace and, therefore, to accord permission to compound the above offence.
3. Having heard the parties, permission is thereby accorded as the parties stated that they have amicably settled the matter to purchase peace. Accordingly, the offence is compounded in terms of their compromise at the instance of the de facto complainant since present with petitioner No.1/A.1 and that petitioner Nos.2 to 8/A.2 to A.8 are permitted to be represented through GPA holder i.e., petitioner No.1/A.1.
4. Accordingly, Crl.P.M.P.Nos.10231 and 10232 of 2015 are allowed. Consequently, the criminal petition is allowed and all the proceedings relating to C.C.No.145 of 2014 on the file of the V Additional Junior Civil Judge, Guntur, are quashed against the petitioners/A.1 to A.8. The bail bonds of the petitioners/A.1 to A.8, if any, shall stand cancelled.
5. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
