ORDER

1.

This Criminal Petition has been filed seeking modification of condition Nos.(i) and (iii) imposed in the order dated 14.05.2026 passed in Criminal Petition No.7651 of 2026 by this Court arising out of crime No.351 of 2025, by reducing the surety amount from Rs.25,000/- to Rs.15,000/- each with two sureties and by recording that the petitioner is not presently in

possession of any passport and undertakes to surrender the same before the concerned Court if obtained in future. 2.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State is represented.

Having heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, is inclined to reject the modification sought in condition No.(i) with regard to reduction of the personal bond amount from Rs.25,000/- to Rs.15,000/- each with two sureties. However, this Court is inclined to modify condition No.(iii) to the effect that, instead of surrendering his passport, the petitioner shall file an affidavit before the concerned Court stating that he is not in possession of a passport and undertaking to surrender the same before the concerned Court immediately upon obtaining a passport.

The other conditions imposed in the order dated 14.05.2026 passed in Crl.P.No.7651 of 2026 shall remain unaltered.

The Criminal Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
