The case of the petitioner is that his father was a fair price dealer of shop No.1 of Thallampadu Village, Khammam Rural Mandal, Khammam District and he expired on 24.01.2010. As on the date of death of his father, the petitioner's age was 38 years.

He submitted a representation to the second respondent on 15.05.2013 and another representation on 06.02.2015 for consideration of his case for appointment as fair price shop dealer on compassionate grounds, as per G.O.Ms.No.4, Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies (CS-1) Department, dated 28.02.2014 and as no orders have been passed so far, the present writ petition is filed. In view of the nature of relief sought for in the present writ petition, I deem it as not a fit case to keep the writ petition pending. In circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner for appointment as fair price shop dealer on compassionate grounds in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.4, dated 28.02.2014 and shall pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
