... Respondents ORDER: :(Per Hon'ble Smt. Justice T. Madhavi Devi) This writ petition is filed seeking Writ of Habeas Corpus to produce a girl by name Bhukya Maha Lakshmi, aged 17 years before this Court and set her at liberty and send her to the child home and pass such order or orders.

Learned Government Pleader attached to the office of learned Additional Advocate General has obtained instructions and submitted that after receipt of the complaint, an FIR has been registered vide F.I.R.No.45 of 2026, dated 11.04.2026 under Sections 137(2) BNS and the girl as well as the boy by name of Banothu Bhanu were apprehended in Warangal and it was found that the girl was a minor

and as she was refused to go with her mother, she was sent to Bharosa Centre, Suryapet and therefore, she is in the custody of Bharosa Centre.

He further submitted that after verifying the age of the girl, it is found that she is a minor and the FIR has been altered by adding Sections 75 and 78 of the BNS and Sections 11 and 12 of POCSO Act, 2012 to the existing Section 137(2) of the BNS and filed Section alteration memo and that the boy is in the judicial custody in Sub Jail, Huzurnagar and in proof thereof, the receipt of the Sub Jail, Huzurnagar is also filed.

In view of the same, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition.

Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this writ petition stand closed.
