THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 18358 OF 2019 O R D E R:

The Writ Petition is filed seeking certiorari calling for the records of the proceedings of the 2nd respondent Tahsildar passed in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 5 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 dated 12.07.2019 in favour of the 3rd respondent for modification of the revenue records pertaining to Survey No. 830/6 situated at Medchal Village and Mandal and to quash the same. Though learned counsel for the petitioner tries to persuade this Court to examine the matter on merits, particularly in view of the previous litigation i.e. O.S. No. 241 of 2018 on the file of the Senior Civil Judge's Court, Ranga Reddy District, this Court is not inclined to entertain the same as there is a specific effective alternative remedy available in terms of Section 5(5) of the Act. The Writ Petition is therefore disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedies in accordance with law. No costs.
