THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.38308 of 2015 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner was that the police authorities are not completing the investigation in Crime No.58 of 2015 on the file of Thavanampally (TV Palle) Police Station, Chittoor District. The Sub-Inspector of Police, Thavanampally Police Station, Chittoor District, furnished written instructions dated 03.12.2015 to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein it was stated that Crime No.58 of 2015 was registered under Sections 323 and 506 I.P.C. read with Section 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, on the file of Thavanampally Police Station, Chittoor District, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint.

He further stated that upon due investigation, the police found that a cognizable offence was made out and accordingly laid a charge sheet before the learned IV Additional District Magistrate, Chittoor, vide C.C.No.481 of 2015. In the light of the aforestated developments, the grievance of the petitioner as to the alleged inaction on the part of the police authorities stands settled. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
