ORDER

Seeking promotion to the post of Middle Management Scale-III, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition. It is noticed that during pendency of the writ petition, the petitioners have attained the age of superannuation. As the petitioners have retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation, the relief as sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted. However, the petitioners are at liberty to submit a representation afresh to the respondent seeking notional promotion, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks thereafter, in accordance with law.

With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
