HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION No.6994 OF 2011 ORDER:

The petitioners seek writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in deducting the crop insurance premium from the crop loans of the petitioners, released and to be released to the petitioners/members at the rate of 1% to 12.5% towards crop insurance premium for Kharif and Rabi seasons 2010-2011 as illegal, arbitrary, violation of the provisions of the Constitution of India, Contract Act and declare the same as optional and pass such other order. 2.

On perusal of the record, it is evident that the subject matter in the writ petition has become infructuous since the relief sought for in the present writ petition is pertaining to the crop period for the years 2010-2011, which was over long back.
