THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.18070 of 2014 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed by petitioners seeking to continue in service till they attain the age of 60 years. 2.

On 11-07-2016, while admitting the Writ Petition, this Court directed the respondents to take a decision with regard to the age of superannuation taking into consideration the provisions of Section 115-D(2)(iv) of the A.P. Cooperative Societies Act, 1964 and also the Memos of the Government issued from time to time on or before 31-07-2016.

It is not in dispute that the employer of the petitioners i.e. the Prakasam District Cooperative Central Bank Limited, Ongole has passed resolution No.1 dt.26-07-2016 not to provide any enhancement in the age of superannuation from 58 years to 60 years to its employees.

In this view of the matter, no relief can be granted to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. 6.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
