ORDER

The petitioners preferred the present criminal revision case challenging the order of dismissal dated 14.12.2015 passed in Crl.M.P.No.882 of 2015 in C.C.No.132 of 2014 by the learned Principal Junior Civil Judge, Kovvur.

2. The petitioners herein are A2, A3 and A5 to A7 in C.C.No.132 of 2014 on the file of Principal Junior Civil Judge, Kovvur, registered for the offence punishable under Section 498-A IPC. They filed the impugned application under Section 239 Cr.P.C. seeking to discharge them from the said C.C. By the order impugned, the trial Court dismissed the said petition holding that there is a prima facie case against the petitioners. Challenging the same, the present revision is filed.

3. Heard and perused the material on record.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners confined his argument that the presence of the petitioners may be dispensed with.

5. The order impugned shows that the trial Court after considering the statements of the victim and her parents and also FIR held that all the accused harassed the victim by demanding additional dowry and dismissed the impugned application. Therefore, this Court is of the view that there is no need to interfere with the same.

Since the matter arising out of matrimonial dispute, the identity of the petitioners is not in dispute. In any event, considering the nature of allegations, the presence of the petitioners/A2, A3 and A5 to A7 before the trial Court is

dispensed with, except on the dates expressly directed by the trial Court and the petitioners shall be represented by their counsel.

6. Accordingly, the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this revision shall stand closed.
