HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.15954 of 2018 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the 2nd respondent in directing the petitioners to come to the police station very frequently and keeping them in police station for hours together with a view to pressurize them to compromise in civil disputes with the 3rd respondent without there being any complaint or registration of crime as arbitrary.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that two crimes on the file of Karimnagar I Town Police Station are registered against the petitioners i.e.

Cr.No.159 of on 27-04-2018 and Cr.No.199 of 2018 on 22-05-2018 on the allegation that the petitioners cheated the defacto complainants and threatened them with the dire consequences and during the course of investigation, petitioner No.2, who is A1 was arrested and sent for remand in Cr.No.159 of 2018 and PT warrant was filed against A-1 on 22-05-2018 in Cr.No.199 of 2018. The cases are pending investigation for apprehending petitioner No.1, who is A-2 in the above crimes, since the date of registration of crime. It is also stated in the written instructions that allegations made in the affidavit are not correct and denied. The police have not called the petitioners to the police station

and not made them to sit hours together in the police station. The police also not pressurized the petitioners to settle the civil disputes with the 3rd respondent as alleged by the petitioners. The said allegations have been made only for the purpose of the writ petition.

In view of the same, recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of. However, it is open for the petitioners to avail alternative remedies available to them under law.
