HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.35346 of 2016 ORDER:

1.

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to reinvestigate the case with superior officials and file appropriate report. 2.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that in order to grab the land of the petitioner, respondents Nos.3 and 4 along with their henchmen came to her land and scolded her in filthy language in the name of her caste and hence, she lodged a complaint before the Station House Officer, Hajipur Police Station on 26.1.2016. The 2nd respondent conducted investigation and filed a report stating that the said complaint was false. Hence, the petitioner approached this Court.

4.

If it is the grievance of the petitioner that the investigating officer closed the case even though her complaint discloses cognizable offence, the petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition before the Court concerned challenging the final report of the investigating officer. 5.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
