WRIT PETITION NO.15936 OF 2018 ORDER :

Petitioners are aggrieved by inclusion of property, to an extent of Ac.8.50 cents in Sy.No.154 of Joharapuram village in Kurnool District, in the list of prohibited properties in A.P. Gazette published on 24.10.1963 as wakf property. When matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for petitioners seeks leave of the Court to file appropriate application to the A.P. State Wakf Board.

Granting such liberty, writ petition is disposed of. It is needless to observe that if application is made to the A.P. State Wakf Board, the same shall be considered in accordance with law and appropriate orders shall be passed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such application. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
