HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT PETITON No.14400 of 2011 ORDER:

Sri V. Ravi Kumar, Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's vehicle was taken on hire by the APSRTC, pursuant to the agreement dated 15.03.2008, for a period of four years i.e., till 15.03.2012. On the ground that the contract was terminated before expiry of its term, the petitioner invoked the jurisdiction of this Court; and the proceedings dated 27.04.2011, whereby the contract was terminated, was stayed by order in WPMP No.17366 of 2011 dated 09.11.2011. As the contract period is only for four years which expired on 15.03.2012, nearly six years ago, it is evident that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court. The Writ Petition has become infructuous and is, accordingly, dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
