THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.15837 of 2018 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the only grievance of the writ petitioner is in regard to non-completion of investigation and non-filing of final report/charge sheet in case in Crime No.209 of 2017, registered, on 25.03.2017, on the file of the Kushaiguda Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate, Ranga Reddy District. 2.

I have heard the submissions of Sri Rama Murty P.V.S.A., learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana), appearing for the respondents 1 to 5. I have perused the material record. 3.

At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even after lapse of one year, the investigation is not completed and charge sheet/final report is not filed. He further submits that if the investigation is expedited and a final report, either way, is filed, the ends of justice would be met. 4.

Learned Government Pleader for Home endorses the said submission.

Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Station House Officer, Kushaiguda Police Station, Kushaiguda, Malkajgiri, Ranga Reddy District/5th respondent herein, to expedite the investigation into the afore-stated crime

MSRM, J W.P.No.15837 of 2018 and file a final report, either way, by following the procedure established by law. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
