ORDER:

The petitioner is a Field Assistant. As a consequence to the disciplinary action initiated against him, by proceedings, dated 11.08.2014, the petitioner's services were dispensed with. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner claims to have filed appeal before the District Collector. Contending that the said appeal is yet to be disposed of, this writ petition is filed.

2. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner claims to have filed an appeal before the appellate authority and the same is pending consideration before the appellate authority, the Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on merits, directing the District Collector/District Project Coordinator, MGNREGS, District Water Management Agency, Anantapur District (3rd respondent) to consider the appeal and pass orders, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner to work out his remedies, if the appeal is not favourably considered by the appellate authority. There shall be no order as to costs.
