HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 11172 of 2004 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not promoting the petitioner to the post of Deputy Executive Engineer in the existing vacancy in Karimnagar District, as illegal and arbitrary. A consequential direction is also sought to the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Deputy Executive Engineer in the existing vacancy in Karimnagar District taking into consideration the eligibility and qualification of the petitioner.

While admitting the writ petition, this Court directed the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion as per service rules governing the service conditions of the petitioner, vide orders dated 13.07.2004 in WPMP No.14181 of 2004. In view of the interim orders passed by this Court, no further orders are necessary.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
