THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY WRIT PETITION No.16496 OF 2001 ORDER:

As seen from the record, the writ petition was filed by the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation against V.Sankaraiah, who is the second respondent, to set aside the award passed in I.D. No.208 of 1998 dated 02.02.2001 passed by the Labour Court, Ananthapur quashing the same. But the writ petition against the second respondent was dismissed vide order dated 29.04.2009. Therefore, no relief can be granted against the second respondent in his absence. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for non payment of process and non taking necessary steps to restore the petition against the second respondent. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
