Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for the respondents.
2. The 1st petitioner is the owner of the stock and the 2nd petitioner is the owner of the lorry bearing registration No.AP 29U 7737 involved in 6A proceedings before the 2nd respondent. The stock of the 1st petitioner along with the lorry of the 2nd petitioner was seized on 16.06.2015 and the petitioners filed an application before the 2nd respondent for release of the stock and the lorry on 18.06.2015. When the same was not disposed of, the present writ petition is filed.
3. Since the petitioners filed their application before the 2nd respondent on 18.06.2015 and filed the writ petition on 23.06.2015 without giving sufficient time to the 2nd respondent, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition and the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 17.06.2015 filed on 18.06.2015, in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
4. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________________________ (A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J) 25th June, 2015 cbs
