HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO CRL.P.M.P. NO.10012 OF 2015 IN/AND CRIMINAL PETITION No.9965 OF 2015 ORDER :
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, 'the Code') by the petitioners/ A.1 and A.2 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.340 of 2014 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally, registered against them for the offences punishable under Sections 324 and 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
2. The de facto complainant filed a joint memo of compromise in Crl.P.M.P. No. 10012 of 2015 seeking permission for compromise in the matter by compounding the said crime. The de facto complainant and the petitioners/ A.1 and A.2 are present. The parties stated that they wanted to purchase peace and they have settled their disputes outside the Court.
3. Having regard to the above, to sub-serve the ends of justice by invoking Section 482 of Cr.P.C. permission is accorded and Crl.P. M.P. No. 10012 of 2015 is ordered and the offences supra are compounded.
4. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and all the proceedings relating to C.C. No.340 of 2014 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally, against the petitioners/ A.1 and A.2, are quashed. The bail bonds of petitioners/ A.1 and A.2, if any, shall stand cancelled.
5. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
