HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 15878 of 2018 ORDER:

1) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not taking action in accordance with the orders dated 27.07.2012 passed in W.P.No.15176 of 2003 as illegal and arbitrary.

2) The facts in issue are that in W.P.No.15176 of 2003 this Court while dealing with the issue wherein the Memo No.3231/ Assn.V(2)/ 2000 dated 09.07.2003 issued by the Principal Secretary, was challenged, allowed the writ petition by setting aside the Memo and remanded the matter back to the first respondent therein to hear the parties afresh and pass appropriate orders. While disposing of the writ petition, this Court ordered status quo to be maintained. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the High Court directed the first respondent therein, who is the first respondent herein also, no orders are passed till date and even the matter is not taken up for hearing.

3) Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to comply with the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.15176 of 2003, as early

as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. The Registry is directed to communicate a copy of the order to the first respondent forthwith.

4) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
