THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT WRIT PETITION No.44578 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard Mr. Vishnuvardhan Reddy for petitioner and Mr. Thimothi for respondent No.1.

Learned Standing Counsel places on record written instructions dated 23.12.2016 and submits that for the academic year 2016-17, admissions were closed on 07.12.2016. Mr. Vishnuvardhan Reddy submits that one Shobha Rani, though was given admission, later on, she has relinquished her claim on admission and reported back to duty. Therefore, that seat is still vacant and having regard to peculiar fact situation in which the case of petitioner could not be considered, he requests the Court to permit the petitioner to represent to respondent No.1 and they may be directed to consider the case of petitioner i.e., in-service candidate for the seat vacated by Shobha Rani. Petitioner is aged about 40 years. Petitioner is claiming admission in the quota meant for in-service candidates. This Court is of the view that keeping in view the inclination of the petitioner and also that a seat has fallen vacant with the vacation of seat by Shobha Rani, the petitioner can be given liberty to

SK, J W.P.No.44578 of 2016 represent within three days from today to respondent No.1 who in turn will consider the case within one week thereafter and take a decision as they deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

Writ Petition disposed of accordingly.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
