HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT WRIT PETITION No.21111 of 2016 ORDER:

Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks a direction thereby directing the respondents to declare the results of Senior Secondary Education for the academic year 2015-2016. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that, for the aforesaid relief, the petitioner made representation on 15.06.2016 to the respondents. However, till date, no decision has been taken by the respondents. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that the matter has been ceased by the High Power UFM Committee, and the said Committee is likely to file its report within four weeks.

Keeping in view the averments made in the petition, and the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to direct the respondents to decide the representation dated 15.06.2016 within a period of five weeks from today.

In view of the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Needless to state that, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the action or inaction of the respondents, they may approach the appropriate forum.
