Heard Mr.Ch.Satish Kumar, learned counsel for petitioner. The petitioner prays for the following relief "..... to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not paying the arrears of salary for the period from 22.9.1998 to 18.2.1999 and 15.3.2000 to 25.10.2000 is being illegal, arbitrary and opposed to Article 14 of the Constitution of India and consequently to direct the respondents to pay the arrears of the salary for the period from 22.9.1998 to 18.2.1999 and 15.3.2000 to 25.10.2000 ....." The petitioner filed W.P.M.P.No.13860 of 2009 for a direction to respondents to pay the salaries for the period from 22-09-1998 to 18-02-1999 and 15-03-2000 to 25-10-2000.

On 17-09-2009, this Court granted interim direction as prayed for.

Since the main prayer and the interim prayers are substantially one and the same, the writ petition is disposed of by making interim direction as final direction in the writ petition. There shall be no order as to costs.
