THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 18520 OF 2019 O R D E R:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not allotting house number to the petitioner's house situated at plot bearing No. 45 to an extent of 300 square yards in Survey No. 511 (old 548) situated at Waddepally Village, Pragathi Nagar Colony, Road No. 3, Near Mayuri Gardens, Hanamkonda, Warangal in spite of the representation dated 26.07.2016, as illegal and arbitrary. The case of the petitioner is that he is the absolute owner and possessor of the above said property. He got approved the layout regularisation plan in respect of the said property vide proceedings dated 18.05.2015 and thereafter, made construction of a compound wall therein. On 26.07.2016, he made an Application before the respondents requesting to grant house number to his plot, but so far, the same has not been attended to, claims the petitioner.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation submits that the Application of the petitioner dated 26.07.2016 will be considered in accordance with law, subject to eligibility. Considering the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent Corporation to pass appropriate orders on the Application of the petitioner dated 26.07.2016 in accordance with law within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
