Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue for all the respondents. With their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

Seeking to declare the action of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in not refunding the challan amount of Rs.3,87,700/- vide challan No.985VTI180120, transaction ID No.5054527344302 dated 18.01.2020, as illegal and arbitrary, the present writ petition is filed.

Having regard to the nature of grievance exposed by the petitioner in the present writ petition, without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a representation before the respondent No.2District Registrar seeking refund of the amount, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such representation being made, the same shall be considered and necessary orders be passed thereon, within a period of eight weeks thereof, strictly in accordance with law. A copy of the order passed by respondent No.2 shall be communicated to the petitioner. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
