HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 15520 of 2005 ORDER:

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition challenging the appointment of Respondents 2 to 4 as Assistant Professors in Botany in the 1st Respondent University and the petitioner has also sought consequential direction to declare that the petitioner is selected to the post of Assistant Professor in Botany.

A perusal of the record discloses that the Petitioner has attained the age of superannuation and the relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted in view of the fact that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation.

In view of the same, this Court is of the considered view that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive.
